Five years ago, she became certified in Reiki, a type of energy healing that was founded by Dr. Usui, a Japanese monk, in the 1800’s. Wanting to bring wellness to a larger audience, Linda researched the spa and wellness industry. Linda, a SUNY Albany graduate, with a BA in Communications, returned to school, taking continuing education classes in business at Barcuch College. After about year and half of searching for a spa to acquire, one became available in the East 60’s. She renamed it Destiny Beauty and Wellness Day Spa
